For savings I use emigrantdirect.com, hsbc.com and ingdirect.com

Emigrant and HSBC are paying 4.65 now and Ing just raised to 4.25

Unless you have any reason to want an account in a US bank - forget it. There are far better jurisdictions for banks who have far more security and less bullshit - including a number in the EU, but also elsewhere, depending on your needs.

PS... BTW they were crap even before the Patriot Act thinkx
