Is this possible ?
I recently registered a domain and it offer me (url forwarding) it also offer me to setup ... (e-mail forwarding) from the domain I paid for to one of my e-mail address and here is my big question
Is it possible to sent from the domain.com I paid for or do I need to use my own e-mail address ? well if that's the case then there is no point using (e-mail forwarding) because it kinda sucks using private e-mail to mail soon 2 be new customers.... I registered my domain with PIPE so if you know anything and if it's possible to sent out e-mail from the [email protected] then let me know, thanks! |

If I understand the question, and if you are using Eudora, you just need to set up a new personality that has your new domain as the return address.
You can just have the mail from that domain forwarded to your current email address. Set up a new personality in your email program. The new personality should be set up not to check for mail if you are using forwarding. Now, set up a filter that checks the headers of your email and any mail that is coming to that domain, have the filter change the personality to the new personality with the domain you want the responses to come from. You can also have the filter send those message to a different folder so you can keep things organized. It's pretty much the same process if you have a POP3 account for the new domain, but the new personality will need to check for mail in that case. Hope this is actually what you were talking about. |
