Good question, but they're obviously doing it. Like many things in any industry it's probably all about presentation or packaging and how informed the buyer is.

Before the site gets taken down, I'd recommend you change the focus of the site. Very few of those girls are goth. Get rid of the lame gothic fonts and cheesy goth names and it'll convert even better.

It's like putting C cup girls on a big boob site. Sure, it'll convert. But it'll do even better if you swap out the C cup girls for D cup girls.

It's all moot, anyways. The site likely won't be up for very long.

Certainly not goth. I'm a Suicide Girl myself, and I've never considered myself goth. Pin-up punk girls is a better definition, but that's what the real site uses to define them.

That's just about the only place on the site you'll find the term. Out of 1098 SGs, there are a few goths. However, there are none in your tour. I've met and/or spoken to all but 3 or 4 of the girls in your tour and 3 of them are friends of mine. I can assure you they're not goth.

Dude, it's your site, and it's not going to be up for long, so do whatever you please with it. I'm only making suggestions to help increase your conversions in the meantime. Take it or leave it.

I don't think it's that important Kriss. It's an adult site and it's primarily going to be marketed to a vast number of surfers who aren't going to get it anyway. They will see the site and think 'Gothic' just like they see the SG site and think 'Gothic'.

The 1st line of it's Wiki entry reads:
SuicideGirls is a website that features softcore pornography and text profiles of GOTH, punk, and emo-styled young women who themselves are known as the "SuicideGirls".

The cheesy names give it a nice touch and one that a vanilla surfer would probably expect, that feeds into his fantasy or idea better. Looking at the SG Girls page you see similiar names, maybe just not as completely.

This is really a 'gother-than-thou' argument anyway. The conversions speak for themselves and if they give a new tour a run I hope they switch back if the conversions don't improve.
