Hello thank you for your comments, well I will try to respond to your questions:
This is not the last model but is one of the nicests I have seen on tablets and it does the job, I paid $1200 for it, comes with 60GB of HD (shock resistant) and 512MB of RAM, the screen is 10" and the resolution is the standard 1024x768, you can upgrade it with an external monitor (i guess). I have been working some hours with it and I love it, even more I compared it with my another laptop (an IBM thinkpad T30) and the fonts are smaller here (my old laptop looks like a big dinosaur, hehe). It weights around 3 to 4 pound which is almost nothing compared with my first laptop that had 7 pounds. I am a heavy mobile laptop user so the weight becomes somewhat important. (Of course if I would work at home 24/7 then I would prefer a desktop), anyway, the screen is not touch sensitive so I have to use the pen to write on it. |

Can you explain to me the benefits of having a tabletpc when compared to a comparable laptop? Stat-wise... a laptop at that price range is going to kick it's ass, it will most likely have a bigger screen and it will weigh about the same. Why reason(s) would you prefer a tabletpc over a laptop?
