For the last two weeks, EVERY TIME I made a transaction using Paypal, within 30 minutes I have gotten some sort of Paypal phishing email.

MY shit is clean, I'm beginning to wonder about them though.

They just like you.

I used Paypal again for the first time since I started this thread. NINE MINUTES later I get another phishing email, oddly enough the first one I've gotten since the above mentioned incident.

why don't one of the multi millionaires on gfy start a paypal alternative, and an ebay alternative while your at it.

The 6:51 email is the genuine notification of the transaction I made. The second at 7:00, the phishing one.

Our servers went down and we need all members to resubmit their passwords. All accounts will be credited the correct amounts. Paypal.com should be back up within 2-3 business days.

who knows with all those companies.. i got a few of those emails, so i assumed it was because of the company i sent the money to. I forwarded them to [email protected] .. and the usual reply is 'oh that wasn't sent by us don't click that link' .. no shit, sherlock! :disgust

i have been getting paypal phishing emails recently too!

i get more ebay emails then anything

perhaps someone's sniffing packets at the send money confirmation page, and somehow extract your email addy from it...

dont feel so bad i got hit with a fake paypal email saying my account had an attempted brake in 3 times and they wanted me to click THEYRE link. ok fucking what ever. fucking scum bags
