Do you give your clients gifts?
And if so, on what occasions? Do you like send flowers or chocolates or the dreaded CORPORATE PEN a few times per year? Or do you save it up for trully special moments, like anniversaries of the relationship and the reaching of milestones? Just curious. 2hp |

Occasions would be birthdays, anniversaries, "holiday season", special occasions, mile stones, and of course if they are sick. Given: Everything from flowers, candy, and edibles for birthdays and sickness etc. Large cash bonuses near holiday season. Plenty of very nice cards at assorted moments. Then everything from specialty lighters to prepaid get aways. |
Do you weigh the amount you spend on these gifts against the profitability of the relationship, or just kinda wing it? 2hp |

One year I sent chocolates for xmas, valentines I send flowers, i sent cheesecakes 2 years ago to all my clients, last year it was steaks from Omaha Steaks and just last month I took out 24 clients to Niagara Falls for a day trip to the falls, wine tasting, dinner and a bar. So yeah, I do like to say thank you to the people who pay my bills ;)

Obviously many are based on the profitability of the relationship when it comes to business. Then I also am not against sending to potential or one time relationships. |
