ok, then put this line at your .htaccess:

Redirect / NEWURL

for example:

Redirect / http : / / some site . com

(no spaces, my url posting is blocked ;))

hope it helped :thumbsup

clarification please, do i do it like this, adding additional lines for each domain i want to block, example: ? notice i did add spaces per your example.

Redirect / www.fusker.com / / www.myadvertisingpageexample.com
Redirect / www.fucker.1234.com / / www.myadvertisingpageexample.com

and by blocking "www.fusker.com" will that also block all subdomains and extensions on "www.fusker.com" ex. "www.fusker.44.com" , "www.fusker.com/23.php", "www.fusker.com/44d.cgi", etc.

?

thanks again!

Better than blocking sites put on the .htaccess the sites that are allowed to hotlink :2 cents:. Do a simple ".htaccess" search and you'll find it.

Redirect / wwwdotsomeserverdotcom

you cant do this with vhosts pointed to the same place, to do this you have to edit the apache vhosts section at apache.conf (usually /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf)

and no, you're just redirecting requests to the root dir.
