Just had a truck accident, totalled my 4x4 Jimmy
 

Yep had an accident just 1 hour ago
was going 50km per hr down a very busy Portage ave, when this idiot lady yappin on her cell phone turns right in front of me.
needless to say I t-boned her but good
I never even got the chance to hit the brakes.

my truck is now a total write off
the only good things is that my son and I were not hurt and that the truck is worth twice what I paid for it, plus all the parts and $2000 of work that was just done to it this last week.
so in total around $10K, the insurance will be giving me for about $6K worth of truck.
I paid $3000 for it and put about $3000 into it.
So in some ways I am not a happy camper and in others I am very happy
Now I can get an even better 4x4 truck!

I do hate idiot drivers though.

I am going to the insurance compound either tonight or tomorrow morning to get some pics of the damage.
will post the pics as soon as I have them, if anyone wants to see them.

Man that sucks, I hate fucking getting into fender benders with idiots. Got in one three months ago and the insurance companies are crooks. They try and get out of anything they can. Glad to hear you and your son are allright, how is the lady?
