-Don't let people at the airport take your baggage.
-Tell the cab drivers what you're paying before the trip, don't let them tell you after.
-Buses are cheap and quick rides, but they are pretty dirty.
-Cops will threaten to take you to the policia station for anything, and try to take all your money so tell them you only have like $10 or something to pay them off.
-Tips the bartenders FIRST, and make sure they see it, and you will get good service.
-You can barter with ANYONE there.
-Don't listen to people trying to sell you shit on the street. Buy club packages through your hotel if you want them.

The people come and say "you guys like girls? come to this club!" and they push you up these stairs to the club and as soon as you get in there girls are all over you trying to get you to pay for lap dances, blow jobs, sex, etc.

yep it is, its right downtown

you don't have to look very hard just walk around the clubs during the day and you'll get a handful of guys trying to slang you some dope.

yeah i was in the hyatt right there on the tip of the island. walk about a block and a half and your right in club central. i was so trashed the week i went there its great. you'll have a blast for sure. :thumbsup

oh yeah and like that guy said for best service tip the bartender good before you start getting drinks. if you don't they will just look right past you and serve every single lady in the place before you.

I just returned from Playa Del Carmen ( 45 minutes SW of Cancun) last night. If you have the opportunity, make sure you do a TAMAZCAL session. It's intense...if you can stay in for the whole experience, you'll never for get it. I did one, and I can't wait to go back:feels-hot :feels-hot :feels-hot :feels-hot

Or just ask the cab drivers lol. They all try to sell drugs to you.

yup definately not a place you'll forget anytime soon. one of the top vacation spots in my opinion. it's just a fun place to be.. :thumbsup

yup really looking forward to it, i went to oasis last year and dident enjoy it as much as i though it would

Do go swim with the dolphins.
Do go to Coco Bongo.
Do not drink the water.

Take the booz cruise, then the jungle tour, scuba diving is a must. Take lot's of condoms:thumbsup
