Walmart or Target?

cmon man lets get real.

walmart or target.

nestle 05-31-2006 11:57 PM

Target for where I am.

Around where I live, Walmart used to be really new looking and in good neighborhoods while Target used to be in the middle of nowhere. This was about 5-10 years ago.

Now, it seems like Target is building a new store every block and every store looks really clean. Walmart, on the other hand, are all old looking now and not as clean as it used to.

By the way, this was a pretty weird topic for a adult webmaster board but I answered frankly. ;)

cranki 05-31-2006 11:58 PM

there's only walmart here... but we have plenty alternatives...

BoyAlley 05-31-2006 11:58 PM

Target......

TexasDreams 06-01-2006 12:02 AM

For a lot of things Target, because there's one less than a mile from my apartment.

The nearest Walmart is about three miles away, and there's a Sam's Club (same owners and products) right next door. So since I already have the Sam's Club card I go there for things that are cheap, or in bulk quantity. :)

xclusive 06-01-2006 12:03 AM

Super walmarts are great:)

NTSS 06-01-2006 12:03 AM

Walmart has a larger variety of products...

oh you clever clever boy

I'll have to say wal-mart. I'd probably have to drive 100 miles to find a target.

They are trying to build their own version of costco or what ?

hezochiah 06-01-2006 12:44 AM

I stick with Target because it's right down the street.

Mikey_219Inc 06-01-2006 01:25 AM

first bomb walmart, then bomb target

$5 submissions 06-01-2006 01:38 AM

Walmart :) I wish we had those here in the Philippines. Damn monopolistic wholesale distribution system (and tariffs) keeping prices high. :(

Jade^ 06-01-2006 06:27 AM

Definally Walmart :)

pussyluver 06-01-2006 06:34 AM

Don't like Walmart business practices. Imminent domain issues, low pay, slow to come up with benefits. Hurting balance of trade and micro manges suppliers.

sickkittens 06-01-2006 06:52 AM

I can't stand Wal*Mart. Totally different people shop at Target over here.

G-Rotica 06-01-2006 06:59 AM

target :thumbsup

amandaspost 06-01-2006 07:33 AM

I like target better

WebairGerard 06-01-2006 07:34 AM

Target is best of the 2 choices.

when i go to walmart here I feel like any second there could be an immigration canada raid. I think some of the people in there are up to no good.

MandyBlake 06-01-2006 08:33 AM

i prefer target as it has always been much cleaner around here.
i also like the fact that they give 1-2 million dollars to charities each week.

L0rdJuni0r 06-01-2006 08:36 AM

walmart any day :thumbsup

Never heard of Sam's Club? :helpme

Anywho, I prefer Super Wal~Mart but go to Target for clothes and some of the common house decor items (soap dispensers, towel racks, etc) as Target has better quality items generally.

Rochard 06-01-2006 09:04 AM

Wal Mart is white trash.

Target rocks.

In recent history cash donations through Wal Mart exceeded a record $170 million dollars. According to the Chronicle of Philanthropy, this makes Wal-Mart the largest giver in the country. Wal Mart holds a deep commitment to education and children. We provided $6 million in support of 5,000 literacy programs in 2004 and referred over 21,000 callers to services through our literacy hotline. Since launching our national ?Words Are Your Wheels? literacy initiative three years ago, we have donated more than $16 million to literacy programs and served more than 40,000 individuals through our national literacy helpline....

Sosa 06-01-2006 09:09 AM

all we got is a walmart.

sweetgirl2006 06-01-2006 01:29 PM

Googled 06-01-2006 01:58 PM

Don't know about Target, but definately not Wall-Mart (evil!!)

wdsguy 06-01-2006 02:01 PM

Target

Cuz Walmart has all the ghetto mofos.

D 06-01-2006 02:04 PM

I like Target... because you can say its name with a sleazy French accent..

sweetME 06-01-2006 02:05 PM

Le Target, of course

badmunchkin 06-01-2006 02:08 PM

walmart is for white trash - target by a long shot :2 cents:

maja 06-01-2006 02:18 PM

there's only Walmarts around here but between those two, Target is like a small step up from Walmart!

Horny Dude 06-01-2006 02:39 PM

Target for sure and everytime I go in there I drop $75. Walmarts around here are packed and you have to park a mile away.

axelcat 06-01-2006 02:41 PM

Target is close to me

MickeyG 06-01-2006 02:53 PM

walmart has a better selection and is cheaper but they're too far away. I've got a target right across the street so for the little things thats where I go...

btw KMART sucks everytime I go there I wait in line atleast 30 mins.

Babagirls 06-01-2006 02:55 PM

Target!! they have some comfy clothes and usually like 80% off lol I just cleaned up the other day, bought 2 pairs of pants, 2 shirts and 1 jacket for like $50 lol cant beat that. plus, all their clothes have style.

betabomb 06-01-2006 02:57 PM

Tar-zhey.

nexcom28 06-01-2006 02:57 PM
