Need Apache Help Asap
does anyone know if you can just add modules to apache if you didnt add them during config/install?
also, any apache pro who wants a little work and $ hit me up icq 157713798 all i am having problems with is adding: AddType application/x-httpd-php .html i am assuming this is because i dont have the .mime mods installed and i dont know how to do it.... |

If the module comes as a source package then you can compile it and build it as a dynamic shared object (dso). You should be able to do this with the apache extension tool (apxs). Once built, it can be loaded with the LoadModule line in httpd.conf.
Like nasty said though, it doesn't take long for you to recompile apache if the module itself has already been compiled and provided as a binary. |
DSOs are the way to go.. you should be able to just add the relevant LoadModule to httpd.conf, and do an apachectl restart
