Why The Fuck Do Sponsors Discontinue A Site...
Without notifying their affiliates?
So it seems bigcockaddiction.com is gone. Now all traffic forwards to bigcockteenaddiction. Fine, but couldnt they at least make their affiliates aware of this? Was it in the fine print of one of TCG's weekly emails? I couldnt care less about all the new hosted galleries and crap sponsors throw into their newsletters, but news like a site being discontinued is very fucking important. Same shit has happened with many sponsors, topbucks discontinued herfirstasstomouth, meatholes discontinuing pissmops, etc etc. Sponsors, if you're going to be discontinuing a site, the least you could do is send out 1 email to your affiliates making them aware of this. |
Agreed, no need to NOT tell your affiliates...

This has been discussed a number of times.
It's rather simple. Programs don't like to admit failure, and if they send out an email to their affiliates within half an hour it will end up here on GFY - making them look bad. |

Not necessarily, I doubt TCG discontinued their site as a failure (at least I can't see why based on the ratios I was getting). Its possible that the previous domain was already very exposed and saturated and moving the production to a new name would bring about fresh new sales. Couple that with the older content rebranded under the new name and you have a new site with a large amount of content in the backend. I do agree that a heads up would be nice, although it really didn't affect me since the old link code goes straight to the new site. WG |
because the internet is so filled with spam emails..
they think another email is just a waste of time or just lacking of intrest in their source of income! |
