Skiboats: Advice needed.

Which model, around 70k or less, would you buy? And why? And does anyone know of a site that compares new ski boats?

Thanks!

What do you want to do with this baby???

Wakeboard? Ski? Tube? Chill?

How many folks are you looking to hold?

I basically want to compare the Malibu Wakesetters to whatever else is available and to find out if there is some website that does comparisons.

And also to get feedback from people who have experience.

70k, thats alot of boat for that much.

I could be wrong, but I think a nice ski boat is under 30k.

I don't personally own a boat, but because I know how to work on boats I have a lot of friends who have ski/house boats. :) Mostly up at Oroville, Engelbright, and Almanor.

Tige' 21 V is a pretty money ride. All the creature comforts one of the first to come out with a 'wake board' boat.

Sanger V210 is alright, but still a Sanger... Just don't have the quality the others do.

Nautique's are pretty damn nice (top of the line in my book) if you can afford one with all the features you want, you can't go wrong with one of these.

Malibu Wakesetter. Always been a great boat company. I havn't riden in the new wakesetter, but I'm sure if it's got the Malibu name on it you can't go wrong.

Bottom line. If you're going to spend 70k on a new boat (which is easy to do) you're going to get a nice machine. Just try not to put all that money into the stereo and get something that is really suited for your intended use. Trailers are probably the biggest thing I've noticed new boat owners get pissed about, make sure it's a nice one and if it says Ziemann on it DON'T BUY IT.

Have fun out there bro! See you on the water.
