Who still uses water fountains?
 

I saw a guy using a water fountain a few minutes ago inside the office building and thought yuck. You know they've sold us on this whole bottled water thing so the water fountain just seems inhuman to me now. Does anyone here still use water fountains? At the park or maybe the office?

Yes I do. Can not justify the whole bottled water crap except when I am in vegas.

couldn't tell you when the last time i drank water was, let alone out of a fountain....

somtimes i think about that....not sure if it does or not, in all honesty the "facts" say i shoulda died like 3 months ago but i'm still posting.....

You know of public water fountains that are filtered? Even so, that still does nothing for the saliva resting on the spout.

Sorry to hear that if you're terminally ill. I'll definitely shoot up a prayer to the higher being for you.

not ill just haven't had water and the rules say you gotta have it...no prayers needed here there are far more worthy people in the world.....

i used a fountain at the zoo a couple weeks ago and it was a little weird, havent done that since grade school i think. no wait, the gym had one too but i just used it to fill up my bottle.

I hate water fountains. You always have to stand back and test it first otherwise you end up with a facial or looking like you had an accident from the splashing LOL :)

I use them only when I'm really thirsty and there are no other alternatives. Mainly outdoors ones covered in bird shit or other appetizing substances.

They are starting to blame some health problems on the bottled water craze. Too much water consumption can actually be a bad thing, plus we need all those trace elements and microbes that come in the tap.

Now, I don't run to those nasty water fountains but am also not scared to drink tap.

I will go without then drink from a public fountain

i drink tap water.... never drank out of a fountain.

All the time at the gym...

there is water in coke, juice, beer, coffee, etc. or whatever other crap you drink

i drink coke from cans and energy drinks both of which are "sposed" to leech according to popular myth...the one instance that i did remember is about a month ago i made a packet of koolaide which is probably my savior...:upsidedow

I use the fountain at the gym. Other than that I drink filtered water from my fridge and bottled water at resuatrants.

Hell no.. That water is dirty as hell.

hah. with everybody acting so germaphobic, one has to wonder how our parents and grandparents and great-grandparents ever survived! i live in costa rica, and i still dont drink bottled water. tap water is just fine

I drink from the water fountain at the gym all the time and I drink tap water everyday.

I am also very rarely sick.



Its all in your mind people, you will not get sick from drinking in a water fountain.


Keep in mind that the keyboard you're typing on right now is 10 000 times dirtier than any water fountain. Now how many of you type then touch your face ?

Here in Asia they have none, so no, I just drink out of bottles

When I flush the toilet, I sometimes take a sip or two... it's kinda like a water-fountain, too...
