I see more and more of you guys and i've chatted with some of you - you guys have lots of top notch models BUT you gotta find better locations to shoot in - more contemporary, colorful and bright - the old ornate wallpaper and other Russian styles of decor make your content less desirable. What works for a Met Art shoot doesn't work for most sites. Americanize your shoot locations - the vast bulk of surfers who buy are American, Canadian, British and Australian.

Someone finally said it!!, Those Russian sets are quite depressing... even the couchs are creepy :(!!

Russian means "cheap" for the most of webmasters here. That's wrong.

it's just amazing - you want good content for a bag of peanuts just because it's being shot in Russia/Ukraine. Then why the hell do you start whining about crappy setups/locations/backgrounds?

Pay 'em the same price you pay to local content providers and you'll get the best content ever.

sorry - the prices i've been quoted are the same or more than what I charged for the same thing with models shot in Los Angeles at up to $1000 a day - $150 for a solo amateur set, $3-400 for a solo masturbation video.

yes and their cost are 1/5th of what we pay for production here in LA too . .

actually I've been talking about my personal experience

Selling content for few years I've had lots of dialogues like:

me: 100 per scene
customer: ok, nice price! where are you located?
me: Russia
c.: oh really? the price is too expencive for russian content! let's deal at 50

it was late 90's when dozens of photogs in Russia 'd rushed to porn, shooting girls next door with cheap cameras at home and selling it for peanuts. These days are gone. Cometition is tough nowadays so you gotta shoot top notch stuff at affordable prices to stay alive.
