Yahoo redirecting to Mcdonalds?!
 

In trying to read an article, I click http://www.yahoo.com/s/318620 (Oil prices fall by more than $1 a barrel) on the main page of Yahoo and I get redirected to http://www.mcdonalds.com/ . Anybody else getting this? (All 3 of my computers get the same thing) :1orglaugh

It redirects me to faz.net, a german newspaper's site...

now it 404s

I got McD's

redirects me to http://s/ap/20060531/ap_on_bi_ge/oil_prices

takes me to mcdonalds.com

goes to mcdonalds here

I get a page not found, and I can't pull up Networksolutions.com either

its a blank page now

McDonalds is really trying to push that 2 bic macs for 3 bucks special they got going right now

It redirects to this, http://s/ap/20060531/ap_on_bi_ge/oil_prices FireFox/Google then redirect to McD's.

Same if you were to put the letter "s" in your FireFox address bar.

I got the Mc too!

Wonder how much they're paying for the redirect... The't have to sell a hell of a lot of Big Mac's!

Weird... I figured it was just a simple case of S.COM, S.NET or S.ORG having a redirect, but those domains don't actually exist. Are there any other TLDs that browsers try when you don't enter a fully qualified domain name?
