My idea for the ccbill built in affiliate backend...what do you all think?

I posted this in another thread, but I want to give it more attention

this was my idea for the ccbill backend...someone pointed out that it was a free service as an added extra to being a ccbill paysite..and I want them to beef up the system to be on the same level as nats or mpa3.....but lenny says because it is free that it won't happen...so here is my solution and some ideas

they should build it and charge $30 a month per site to use it...simple solution

people would pay that...easy cheesy...and here is a kicker...build a monster of a backend affiliate software into ccbilll, charge $30-50 a month to use it, or use the old system for free...and if you use the $50 a month one and want cascading processors, let people do it for a larger fee...say $150 a month and you can add paycom into the mix through the ccbill software

ccbill would RAKE in the cash monthly from that

fact remains, people are either going to use paycom or ccbill, then if they use both they are going to use nats or mpa3, why not cash in on ALL of it?

I think CCBill would only allow it if they were first in the cascade :2 cents:

It works for me. :thumbsup I believe in giving and getting full credit for referred sales.

It would be nice if they did something like that.

Not sure what you mean by free.... they take a nice healthy percentage of each transaction, so in essence the more they can help people make money the more they make. I love ccbill don't get me wrong. I just think that updating their backend should be standard procedure not something that is charged for on top of their percentage.

you need to remember this...ccbill is a CREDIT CARD PROCESSOR....the affiliate backend you get is an added bonus, they don't have to do that, just look at other processors

Wait till you guys see our new affiliate system when it is releasedhahaha8230;its not going to be completed tomorrow (it will be a while before its released), but a lot of great ideas and webmaster input is going into it

do you have a link to the thread that you mentioned?

czarina 06-23-2006 12:20 PM

if the gfy search wasn't down for now I could find it...I will find it later and report back

nice to see you all are stepping it up, I just hope the same peopel that thought your current system was nice aren't designing the new system...LOL

you all stand in a position to really be on top of the processing game along with the affiliate system game, and I think you all have spent a few years now losing a lot of potential business by not capturing the full audience

its going to be a while, we have a lot of different things that we are working on, but that is one of them?

however, we are going to be releasing an update to the current system very soon, within a month or so, with some features that have been requested (unique clicks and so forth)

I think the worst part about the people bitching that you all don't seem to understand that it isn't any one part of the current system that has people not liking it...it is the entire system

take nats for example, just look how smoothly run and organized it is, compare that to the ccbill affiliate backend and it is like comparing a dvd to a vhs....so, when ccbill reps (or you) come into a thread and talk about improvements being made, but it still basically being the same thing with a new feature, it makes us think like you all don't care and are going to keep it the same way forever

up until this thread I had never heard of you all even caring that people hated that interface, and while I am glad to see you all are going to build a new system, I hope it comes sooner than later, because until that happens, no ccbill program will get my traffic unless they are using a system such as nats or mpa3

man I said this the last time you posted about the last upgrade..

If you do anything at all.. add sales tracking and campains. The more we know about where are sales came from the easier it is to make more sales which equals more money for everyone.

and corvette, if I come off bad I am sorry, I don't mean to at all...I actually am dying to promote some ccbill programs and can't wait for the new ccbill system...I think ccbill is one of the industry greats as far as services go, and want to support them 100%.....I am just waiting to be able to

I have a huge report on my desktop that is full of feature requests that came from suggestions from clients and we have had several meetings with clients that have created their own affiliate systems regarding what works, what doesn?t, whats missing, etc.

If I could snap my fingers and that would complete all of the projects we have going on right now, I would

As for your second paragraph, our core competency is processing and we work hard to improve the processing, every step of the way, other companies concentrate on what their primary focus is

Have to run off to a meeting now, ill be back

congrats to Epoch for the recent news regarding MPA!!!!!

glad to see someone had the same train of thought that I did!

dig420 08-05-2006 04:07 PM

I think it makes it too goddam easy for everybody and their brother to have an affiliate program, that's what I think.

Jace 01-10-2007 03:46 PM

bump for epoch and mpa, nice idea you all had there :)
