Home or Office?

Here at Adult Paymaster we work in an office evironment, I was wondering how many of you work in an office and how many from home? For those who've done both in adult, which do you prefer?

What do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of working in an office evironment are?

Babagirls 05-30-2006 10:08 PM

I have worked from both. I love the ability to work from home and spend more time with the kiddies and take care of the house, plus I don't have to get dressed if I don't want to. LOL. The office interaction and friendships with adults are definitely things you may miss out on. Guess it depends on each person.

home most of the time, also work at my friends computer store doing his computer repairs and work on my webwork there.

That is one advantage of working in an office. I bet alot of people would get more work done too.

Mr.Right - Banned For Life 05-30-2006 10:14 PM

I used to have an office and i hated it, i could not stand the office.

now i work from home and love it, even if you paid me $$$$$ to work in an office, i could never do it.

sweetgirl2006 05-30-2006 10:17 PM

i would say home and office

rants 05-30-2006 10:24 PM

I work at home. Today i woke up at 5pm... sometimes I wake up at night and eat breakfast. How could I work in an office when i wake up anywhere between 5-9pm?

Also time spent commuting and getting ready for commuting could be used to work or sleep.

inthecrack 05-30-2006 10:28 PM

My office takes up about 30% of my home and includes 4 additional work stations for all my editors/employees. I work when I want, eat, sleep when I want, and goof off when I want. Zero travel time. Since I like to work 2 or 3 hours at a time multiple times a day it's the only way it make sense.

KRL 05-30-2006 11:40 PM

Have had both and prefer home office over the office office.

CaptainWolfy 05-30-2006 11:59 PM

home! for now

iTEAM 05-31-2006 12:08 AM

Home, the only way to go!

dissipate 05-31-2006 12:13 AM

Home office - I do some contract work for a company during which i have to physically be in the office and I completly despise it.

curvestar 05-31-2006 12:17 AM

home is the way to go

SykkBoy 05-31-2006 07:08 AM

I liked working from home because I had the flexibility to do things with my kids, their school, etc. but the office helps keep more of a focus on work. Also, now that I have staff, it's easer to have them in the office, that way if I need something I can walk over and ask for it or can explain something a little better. That can be harder to do if someone is working from home and you're wondering if they are around or awake to get things done that you need done.

ssp 05-31-2006 07:10 AM

Have done both but I prefer to work from an office so I've been doing that for years now.

NyLoS 05-31-2006 07:13 AM

Have been working from home since 96 till ... last month, now I am in an office

I've been working from home for the past 6 years. I don't have a problem getting work done. You just have to be self motivated.

Brad Gosse 05-31-2006 07:59 AM

I have a nice home office and an office where the employees go. I split my time between them

johnny1 05-31-2006 08:15 AM

I've done both and both are nice..
definitely more productive at the office :2 cents:

FetishDollars 05-31-2006 08:18 AM

Office is much better than home. It puts all the team together, makes worko-holic atmosphere :)
Home in my oppinion - is the place for relaxing, not for working.

SilentKnight 05-31-2006 08:24 AM

Ours is a home office - with two studio spaces.

pussyluver 05-31-2006 08:26 AM

Home. Have all the freedom to do what I want when I want. If I get bigger, then an office, but I'd prolly have to move to a differnt state. In the middle of the bible belt has it's problems.

StimulMedia 05-31-2006 08:28 AM

office....

RhiannonAPM 05-31-2006 08:38 AM

I think working in an office is better because you don't have the distractions of everyday life. When you are in an environment with other people it makes you want to work more. I kinda wish I could do both lol.

hzoltan 05-31-2006 08:41 AM

in a very big office...my desk is as big as my room at home :)
I see now that there is money in this biz :)

MsWild 06-01-2006 02:26 AM

I work at home :)

Sarah_Jayne 06-01-2006 04:29 AM

I preffer to say that I live at work rather than I work from home.

wdforty 06-01-2006 04:35 AM

I've always worked from home

Ace_luffy 06-01-2006 05:19 AM

home.... but sometimes needs some buddies while working....

sickkittens 06-01-2006 05:32 AM

I work from home but I need it to be completely quiet and alone.

Mr. Romance 06-01-2006 05:35 AM

I work from home, but i am minutes away from the office. I perfer the home..in our business as long as we all communicate and complete our tasks, it can work this way; however, it is key to success to meet face to face as well atleast once per week.

Mr. Romance

RogerV7 06-01-2006 05:41 AM

i work from home, no office yes but maybe later.
