Her first Harley ride (pics)

I have given many girls their first motorcycle ride. I have ex-girlfriends that request I give their daughters bike rides just because they think it is something every woman should experience, and they know they will be safe with me.

Tonight I went to my parent's house for dinner and shortly after arriving it came up that somehow my 74 year old mother had never been on a motorcycle! How can that be? Something had to be done about that.

I pulled out my spare helmet, fastened it upon her head and took her for a half hour ride along the beach. Judging by these pics taken upon our arrival back, she had a pretty good time.

Old ladies and motorcycles do not mix. At their age and due to what time has done to their bodies. A fly could penetrate them at slow speeds and hell with the skin flapping around it very well could look like a pug in a wind tunnel.

L0rdJuni0r 05-30-2006 09:50 PM

thats really cool what you did. she looks like she loved it. well done :thumbsup

Not sure why I thought you were a little smarter. My bad.

Babagirls 05-30-2006 09:55 PM

dude that is awesome! the best time i've ever had was doing 120mph on a motorcycle (my first time on a sport bike). i rode with a professional stunter, so i knew i was in good hands. but damn, what a RUSH!

I'm not too concerned about it - just more of a passive curiosity abourt 'board personas'. I won't judge someone based on pixels.

Relish XXX 05-31-2006 02:59 AM

I love how mums are intent on looking after there kids. Even though she is on the back of a Harley she is more concerned with cooking him dinner hence she still has her apron on.

madawgz 05-31-2006 03:00 AM

everyones gotta try it sometime i guess

testpie 05-31-2006 03:35 AM

Props to you for doing that - not enough caring for the family these days, and it's nice to see somebody doing something genuinely nice for someone.

Yes, it is corrupt that i'm younger than you and yet saying something that makes me sound retired (apart from the down-with-it "Props" part).

MaddCaz 05-31-2006 03:37 AM

It's illegal to ride without a helmet in most countries... protective gear is optional where I live.
anyway why is that funny?? Have you ever tried riding a bike around town in leathers on a sunny summer day?
