For me the best promos are always cash. I don't need a laptop or an Ipod, I would either give it to a friend or ebay it if I won. Instead I would rather just get some extra cash for signups.

I'd really like to see an affiliate program have week / month / whatever of getting paid like a 'normal worker' -
Sundays you get time and a half, (say $45SU), Saturday you get an overtime bonus, and extras paid on holidays.

I don't think it'd cost too much, but it'd certainly be cool :)

10 sales = a steak package from omaha steaks
20 sales = a lobster package from lobsters.com
30 sales = free pizza for a year from your fav pizza joint
40 sales = a night of sushi in vegas on quickbucks
100 sales = a buffet of pussy at the local strip club

A post contest involving being quick, like you post something and the quickest correct answer wins. Maybe questions about what your program offers....

Best ratio day: Affiliates with the lowest sign up ratio gets a cash bonus.
A minimum of 3/4 sign up's and 500 unique would be required to weed out cheaters.

Here is another one, Webmaster promos are aimed at webmasters all the time (seems to be guys most of the time). Not that there is anything worng with that;) but how about a "Spoil your Partner Promo" the Webmaster can get a giftpack, online shopping vouchers ect ect or something along those lines for their significant other.

$66 Trials for the month of June. To make it fair to all and give people incentive to switch their links apply 6 Random $666 bonuses to numbered sales. Example: sale number 10.. 20...30 etc. would collect an additional $666.

hmmmm, how about

any new affiliate who sends 2 sales in a period gets any dvd they want

current affiliates who send between 5 and 10 sales in 1 period get any bottle of alchohol they want from wine to scotch to absinthe

11 to 20 sales would get an ipod, psp, nintendo ds or 350$ cash added to their account

21-30 sales would be a simply 500$ cash

and 31-50 sales or above should be 1000$ cash + bumped payouts for the next period
