Whta resolution do you use here on your workstation

I still run 1024X768

It depends what machine I am on. 1400x1050 right now.

is it inapropriate to standalize to something higher than 1024*768?

I have 2 pcs I'm working on now but the one I'm posting with is 1024x768 and the one I'm editing on now is 1280x720

I think most webmasters use higher resolutions but I still make our sites best viewed in 800x600 till surfers leave that way behind too

Why are you asking webmasters what resolution they have their screens at?? Do some research into what percentage of surfers are still using 800x600 as that's more appropriate.

As a WM, I multitask so none of my windows are full screen. I have my main browsing browsers set at about 900 wide and the others at 800 wide to check designs. I have the resolution on this computer at 1280x1024, the laptop is at 1280x800.

this is a trade script so I am actually interested in webmasters...

I thought webmasters might use a higher resolution in general.

the surfers I have a webstat4u account with 3mill+ visits so I have a good idea about the resolution they use :thumbsup

3200x1200 on my dual monitors I used to run 4096x 1536, but it gives me issues when I have to do a print screen for photoshop stuff, so I had to put it back to 3200x1200. I run 1600x1200 native on my laptop. Oh the dual monitors are dual 21"ers.

I'm so fucking old I remeber using those terminals. What was it VT-220 or something like that was typical. Had a choice of green or amber.

its ok, common mistake, all of us in iraq use this monitor size, so incase we get invaded we can pack up and thorw our computers in our pockets!
