Need Suggestions RE: Van Halen With David Lee Roth

I generally think metal and guitar gymnastics is retarded but....

I really like Hot For Teacher...

I met dave once and think he's a very smart and funny guy and makes a great frontman. I'd like some more songs like Hot For Teacher. Songs with good guitar work-low on solos-and a 'wink' if you know what i mean. No stupid devil shit or humorless self serious metal wanking.

No eruption type shit either.

Thanks...

ElvisManson 05-30-2006 02:40 PM

oddly enough I haven't seen much discussion of VH on this board.

ZZ Top? ... their eighties stuff was kind of like that.
"Sharp Dressed Man" and "Legs" come to mind...

Back in the day DLR was cutting edge with VH. I saw them on the "1984" tour (showing my age). It was amazing.

So no VH song recommendations?
