Cheapest but reliable domain registrars?

Ipower is 2.95 but i read some bad stuff about them?

u-Bob 05-30-2006 01:19 PM

namecheap.

FreakinWebmaster 05-30-2006 01:22 PM

I am never leaving DirectNic..... Why the hell would I want to save pennies, litterally pennies for a domain and risk support, and domain security.

because franck is on a limited income, sig whoring only pays so much, he cant afford the extra $3 for a half decent registar.

Evil Chris 05-30-2006 01:26 PM

name.com is pretty cheap

stickyfingerz 05-30-2006 01:27 PM

I dont mind paying more to dotster cause Ive never had an issue and have yet to have a domain take more than 24 hours to propagate. Normally its up before I get the domain server and webserver configured for it. :winkwink:

madawgz 05-30-2006 01:29 PM

go with namecheap, they are great! :thumbsup

XPays 05-30-2006 01:31 PM

Fabulous.com is the best combo of price and service and parking and what not

a domain for 12 euros per year is a good price

12 euros per year = 1 euro in profit necesar per month to break even

if you have "sites" that dont make you 1 euro per month and thus lose money on the domain registration price you are "probably" doing some "not so good"

Yes you are so right...like usuall you know everything about my business and give me great advice.

Fucking moron.

Dirty F 05-30-2006 02:10 PM

For those who care...i need to buy maybe up to 500 domains so browsing around for a cheaper service isnt that stupid i guess :)

Only simpletons like Metaidiot and Deputy idiot are like usual too busy trying to bash me that they have no clue whats going on.

my math doesnt change on high numbers

in fact , the more domains you have the more a domain can cost without it being a "thing"

Deputy Chief Command 05-30-2006 02:49 PM

of course , this theory of mine only applies to people who know what the fuck they are doing .. . .. ....

So please explain to me why i would spend 5k on domains if i can get the same domains AND service for lets say 3.5. Please give me ONE good reason.

Dirty F 05-30-2006 02:52 PM

Nevermind deputy bitch, like usuall you will come with some blah blah and make yourself look stupid again. Arent you ever getting tired of it? I know i would. How many times have tried to me look stupid im my threads? 30 or so? How many times did it actually work? 0? How many times of those 30 did you end up being the no clue idiot? 30 or so?

L0rdJuni0r 05-30-2006 03:05 PM

So the most expensive company has always the best service :1orglaugh

And you talk about "only people who know what they are doing" :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Just like i predicted...youre making yourself look like an idiot again.

Idiot. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Dirty F 05-30-2006 03:14 PM

So you ofcourse buy at network solutions right? Because they charge what? 35 per domain or so :1orglaugh

Deputy Chief Command 05-30-2006 03:15 PM

Francky boy , if you have all the anwsers ,dont ask questions

justsexxx 05-30-2006 03:18 PM

You can try to contact Moniker, and ask what they can give you for a deal...

dissipate 05-30-2006 03:19 PM

Namecheap is a few cents cheaper - but godaddy hasn't pissed me off yet so I stick with them - I like having my domains consolidated in one place where i can manage them so the price difference isn't enough to make me consider switching my registrar.

Trent Edison 05-30-2006 03:20 PM

Im with idotz.net since 2001, and never had a problem...
$8.75 per .com

Ahhh, already done? Usually this where you start making shit up to look less retarded...not today?

Tempest 05-30-2006 03:22 PM

So is namecheap better than godaddy? more realiable, safer etc?

Dirty F 05-30-2006 03:24 PM

Thanks everybody but im going with network solutions because deputy command shit knows so much about this business that he must be right. The more you pay the better the service. So why pay 5k when i can pay 25k! The fact that NS is known as a horrible company must be a mistake...i mean how could they charge 35 bucks and have shitty customer support, right Dep? :1orglaugh

Thanks!

Bama 05-30-2006 03:31 PM

You can feel free to use me. I resell for Enom, live near their corporate offices, have a sister-in-law who's their HR person and I'm online and around the boards very frequently so support, should you ever need it, is readily available both to you and for me :)
