InterClimax Party for Webmaster Access in Amsterdam:
 

I wanted to take a few minutes to thank everyone I met and saw in Toronto. It was a great show.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to announce that once again this year InterClimax will ba having a party for the Webmaster Access in Amsterdam from September 15 / 18th.
I would like to hear your ideas on what would make it the best party for you! We're busy organizing it, but we'd like to know your opinion...

ok - Just some stuff off the top of my head

I'd start with the idea that most will be crossing an ocean to come to this. It's Amsterdam - So the two main themes everyone talks about are sex and drugs. All parties everywhere have booze and music - but in reality people need to be able to talk and at least pretend to do some business so make sure there are places where it's possible to talk.

The boat party last year was very cool - esp with the freak show. It was the one that I remember above all else cause of the venue and the stage show.

now this is your town, you're know more than I would about options so I'm just throwing out ideas here.

I'm not a big pot user - but I wonder if it would be possible to have a bar for smoking pot - would that be legal? no idea - as part of the party??? Just an idea that people would def talk about.....

Also being the home of the red light district and with what we do for a living- live sex acts would be cool - havnt' sceen that in a while actually at a show and I'm sure there are companies that could do it up right in an interesting way with fetish performers making it into a stag show of the like too.... and with this crowd possibly even having some people (the brave ones) partake in the show or get drawn into the show in some capisity. Make for great stories....

venue - no idea - I don't know the city well enough to suggest there - but something big enough as I personally HATE being cramped. Look for something cool and origional.



what i try to do when throwing an event is make sure there is somethign about it that people will look forward to and talk about afterwards. I'm all about the buzz around the event.

Amsterdam is definitely a gathering I'd like to go to. I'll do my best - regardless, I know it's going to be great for business and I know you Europeans go all out to make everyone welcome and keep them networking!

Good to hear that you liked the Diesel party:) Hey Ben, here are my 2 cents:)

1. Interclimax always has hot girls. So bring them :)
2. Make it possible todo biz as well. Vip rooms are nice, but also non Vips, would like to discuss business. So some more quiet places would be great
3. Personally I don't need to see nude all the time. But I think other webmasters do. So some live shows would be cool. And maybe not just a stripact, but some 'more' action. People will make pics like crazy too, which is good for the Interclimax branding as well
4. Maybe have a place where ppl can dance as well. I do remember some Interclimax party in Escape, and ppl actually danced:)
5. I liked the last few parties, where 'small food' was given. I always get hungry after all the talk, dance and drinks:)
6. Space- Many webmasters prefer some space rather then a packed place. Thehun party for example was a good example how a big room can still be cosy :)
7. Maybe hire some really well known DJ.

Failing that, how about a drunken, drug crazed orgy at a local brothel with just me being the one "Comped" for the whole night. LOL

As far as suggestions goes. I agree with some of the things already said here. We need a place where we can hear each other. Its obvious that there is the RedLight District, pot, etc... and i'm sure all will partake. :winkwink:

But why not switch it up? Start something in mid afternoon or early evening and into the night...
