Crazy about Porsches
Now that I can post URL's I'll show you my toys. The one in the back is a 1986 930 with a Stand Alone Fuel and Timing system by Haltech. I program it with my notebook using a DB9 serial port. By adding more gasoline to the system, you can get fire coming out of the exhaust; believe it or not, that extra gas cools down the heads of the engine. At 1000 degrees

A real Porsche lover won't choose a SlantNose since it doesn't have the typical "round lights" look. Still an exotic car, just a few built. The 968 has one of the biggest cylinders on the market. 3000 CC (750 CC per cylinder)

the 930 is one of my favorite porsches... i have driven one before and the only complaint is that the power make the ass slide out way to easy.... after having 2 boxsters (a reg and an s) i would have to say that prosche should make a 9 with a mid engine....

yes, and at it's time it was the 4 cylinder with the most torque - 305 nm today any tdi has more - lol i love my car - even at times when i didn't know how to pay my rent i never thought about selling it. well, maybe one or two times, but just for seconds :1orglaugh http://www.isaleporn.com/pix/968_3.jpg |

I don't have front plates on any of my cars.I get ticketed about once every 10 months for one of them. :) |
I am very termpted to get a new Turbo or GT model for next year. I'll probably buy a bigger house with that money instead though.
I really do like the body of the Cayman though. Too bad it's so sissy under the hood :/ |
|
they are hot looking cars.

in germany no one would even dare to drive without them - they are mandatory by law. if you drive without them, you do not just get ticketed, you'd have to show up at the police office to show that you put them back on. all the radar speed thingies here for example take pics of your front and they find out who you are by your front plate. so on one hand it would be clever to remove it, but on the other hand you get really fucked hard if they find out who you are though. and hey - how are my chances with a wimbledon green 968? i think there are about 3 or 4 of them in germany :1orglaugh |

yeah, sure, 295 hp in a land where you can drive 88 mp/h or something like that is really waaaaaay not enough. :upsidedow |
