PS3 is SOOOOO pointless.

Wii is going to blow the fucking shit out of Xbox360 and PS3... gamers have suddently, during and after E3, started polling VERY much in favor of Wii ... very few people seem to give a shit about PS3 anymore... especially after the following announcments:

- Wii will only cost a fraction of the price of the PS3
- Wii has full motion control sensors, allowing FULL 3D movement and positioning in true space... PS3 doesn't. Therefore games on PS3 WILL be the same as before ... on Wii, they will be completely different feeling. (the so called 'motion sensor' in PS3's controller was a) an afterthought after seeing Nintendo's console, and b) nothing like the advanced technology of Wii... in fact, the Gameboy, in 1999 had the same technology in some of it's games...).
- ALL the major 3rd Party publishers are making exclusive games for Wii ... Electronic Arts are pushing, as are UbiSoft, plus MANY more....


I work in the games industry as well as the adult industry (have done full time since 2000), and the inside buzz is that Wii is going to be HUGE!

I've always liked nintendo's systems...I never bought a ps2, just gamecube and an xbox for halo and grand theft auto

Yeah, why, why oh why did I buy a ps2 when I had ps1? Same games, same controller etc. Could it be because of the hugely improved graphics and performance? I don't need to tilt the goddamn controller to get my kicks.

PS3 HAS tilt. After seeing Nintendo's.... however... Nintendo DON'T just have tilt. They have FULL movement, placement, rotation, position etc. Pinpoint accuracy. Imagine HOLDING the gun... pointing it... imagine flipping teh gun back into your hand rady to pistol whip someone, and the gun on screen does EXACTLY that! PS3... I guess you could have a button press for it ... ;) The PS3 will be better graphics... but not by enough that anyone will care ... Nintendo will be able to do EVERYTHING that PS3 can do games wise... and a WHOLE lot more...

:) Anyone who buy's PS3 for the franchises they love, is good in my books... anyone who buys PS3 because they think it's going to be 'the better console', or just because they owned a PS2, is a moron with no clue and no sense.

Have you seen the specs? Not much more advanced than a PS2 or regular XBOX. So why not just have a PS2 or an XBOX?

As I said basically a PS2 but TWICE the price and less games. Hmmm. Good bargin.

Wii controller is GAY. Who wants to use a remote control shaped controller? Intellivision tried this to very bad results.


Total BS. Ok Sony guys saw the Wii controller 3 days before E3 and were able to come up with a brand new controller with motion sensors in 3 days to show off at E3? Do you REALLY believe that fanboy?

Typical fanboy talk. The graphical difference between a Wii and either the XBOX 360 or PS3 is far greater than you're letting on. Nintendo has admitted they are not going to be in the fight to be the "Nex gen" console champ says a lot. They have ADMITTED defeat so they stopped trying. And you want to buy stuff from them?

Well the Wii did win best hardware for E3 so it can't be that bad:)

The ps3 controller is fucking lame.. Wow, you can move it sideways or up an down.. That doesn't make playing the games any more fun.. Sure, the specs of the PS3 and XBOX360 are much higher, but I have a computer that can play any game out there and outperfom a ps3 or xbox360 so who cares. First off, with the spec s Sony claims that the ps3 has they will lose A LOT of money on this console and that's a fact. They lost $ on the ps2 and they will lose $ on the ps3. also, if they are gonna use blueray discs for the games expect to pay way more for games.

Back to the controller. Ya, it's easy to come up with a controller that only does a few little things when moving it. when you have a controller that needs to do 100's of things it needs to be tested extensively to make sure it does what they promise. People are free to like whatever console they want. I don't care if if you want a ps3, an xbox360 or a Wii. It's all a matter of choice. Ya, I wish Nintendo would have put more power into the console, but that's life. One thing is for sure though, Nintendo will not lose $ on the console like Sony will.

I think Wii is going to pick up where Gamecube left off.

I am excited to see where Nintendo goes with it.
