I need hotel recommendations for Key West.
I've only been there for cruise ship stops so I'm not sure what decent hotels they have there.
Any helpful suggestions are appreciated. Thx. |
For some reason I've never once wanted to go there, even when I lived in Orlando, Florida for 10 months.
So this post is nothing but a bump. :) |
Probably the Holiday Inn on Duval Street ;) Best view in the city and right in the middle of everything
|
Holiday Inn?
Is there anything better than that? I think I'd rather sleep in the rental car. |

Contrary to popular belief, I am not a homeless bum who has to settle for a cardboard box and some newspaper. I'm looking for a nicer hotel. |
I like and have always stay at the DoubleTree, fast free internet included.
There are only a couple nicer ones, you can check them on hotels.com |

Ah I just remembered... There are some nice hotels right on [or close to] Mallory Dock which is really happening every nite at sunset... I think that would be the ticket for you.
Try the Hilton http://travel.yahoo.com/p-hotel-3334...est_cottages-i or the Hyatt http://travel.yahoo.com/p-hotel-3384...ibXm3P1av8xmoA http://travel.yahoo.com/p-hotel-1915...F74O2GvaviphQB |
Let your dick hang out ...
You will get a room .:2 cents: |
Fuck the major hotel chains...there are tons of kickass houses/bed+breakfast type places down there that are fucking sick. Call the Key West tourism/chamber of commerce. I forgot the name, but there is a local tourist place like that on the way into the keys that found our place for cheap...We had a 2 story loft room that was great with a kitchen.

OMG there are so many nice hotels there. I like the bed and breakfasty type places. They are all really well kept and they seem so private: http://www.keywest.com/guestinn.html
If you like the bigger hotels and want to be by the beach you can try the Hilton, this hotel and spa is lovely too http://pierhouse.com/photo04.html DO NOT STAY AT THE RADISSON OR DAYS INN yuck yuck yuck and not good for getting downtown. If you want to see all the fun Tanker and I had in Key West for Spring Break check www.melonjoint.com |
