If you have something like phpMyAdmin installed on your DB server you can export the db's to a text file. It's a point and click thing really.

uhm,
you don't have to download everything and then reupload it. Just do a server to server transfer. Your host should be able to help you with it. |
Your new host should be able to do that shit for you.
|
phpmyadmin will do it for you, or have the new host

just export all your tables and all of your data. something you should be doing regularly anyways for backup purposes.

I'm gonna have the new host do it.. |

or if you have a Control Panel, the host can use his to import your site. |
As mentioned before, your host will transfer it for you but its still a good idea to have local backups.
Not having a database backup can instantly kill your business. |
Stuff like this typically isn't the resposibility of the host unless explicitly stated...
you can find someone on WHT that can do this for a few bucks |
