Redirect question..
I've just installed this new script for a search engine I'm getting finished up. Whenever you go to www.MYDOMAIN.com, it redirects you automatically to www.MYDOMAIN.com/search/searchscript.php
My question is, how can I make the address bar at the top say just www.MYDOMAIN.com when the homepage is accessed? I only want it to say that on the homepage, if it says that on every page, then nobody will be able to send links to search results/games/etc.. to others. Is this possible? |

Dunno what script you're using but you could do something like:
regular_index.html = normal page search_index.html = the search script page and in your "index.php/shtml" page, sniff for user agent and spit out the index html page you want? I'm probably way off the mark on my post, so here's a bump for you. Sorry. |
What's the real domain?

what you need is to set your domain up as a redirection domain (eg: using redirection.net) and enable masking, that way the display URL will remain the same while the page changes...
