almost yes....

I think that the "adult market" is a large industry where like other industries, segments of it plateau from time to time.

a nice answer, i guess my main synopsis and point is that: are there too many webmaters, programmes, etc in relation to the surfers that join these sites????

czarina 05-28-2006 08:54 AM

No, I dont think that we have. As it is, on a daily basis we get new surfers online every day.

i think so too, but maybe it is just a plateau phase short lived

Sex will always be bought and sold until a time we've all evolved into something that doesn't require a partner...

p1mpdogg 05-28-2006 09:03 AM

it was saturated 3 years ago. its all downhill from here

dont dispute that fact for one moment :)

are the ratios of people involved in making, distributing, marketing sex programmes to people buying from these programmes effective ??

I think the answer to this lies in what and how you are trying to convert surfers.

People change and so does the Internet. If you're advertising the same things in the same way, you will defiantly see a saturation point.

Personally, I think that this comes down to the creativity and ingenuity of the programs. I think that the responsibility lies on them to author creative content that is different and strong enough to overcome plateaus and saturation concerns.

+ 10 new programs every day that noone promotes

The Duck 05-28-2006 09:17 AM

At this point perharps, however there are tons and tons of new internet users connecting every day and we will see a boom of new users in the coming years.

nancycash 05-28-2006 09:23 AM

human needs in sex eternal and i think the adult market is far from saturation.

The economy, numbers and trends are a way of life... Expendable income is up in almost every country.

Ratios associated to making and distributing, I'll let those people speak for themselves. As for marketing and promoting sex programmes, I expect that the best answer is: 1, 2, 5, 10 & 30 year economic cycles directly affect sales across the board for anyone in any business, let alone porn. I think it might even be a right place at the right time kinda thing with net porn.

The net is still a great place for many to make money because not everyone is on it yet. So people who are capable of working within the confines of the law, will continue to increase their income on adult based projects as long as they continue to build up and not sit idle by... as long as you keep going, you WILL make money.

It's become easier than it has before to work on adult, so aside from piracy and those that do questionable things in adult, pretty much anyone can make money in it, as long as you find what works for you.

The ratio or "math" of it, would probably tell you that the makers, distributors and marketers wouldn't do the do if the buyers were not going to be there.

This reply went on longer than I first planned...
