MSIE Bug
All of a sudden my view source option in MSIE stopped working.
there was no way I could view the source of an HTML document. without saving the page to disk and opening it in an editor. Restarting browser or machine did NOT work If you encounter this clear the Temporary Internet Files and lower the max amount of diskspace MSIE can use to store temp documents. After clearing this and restarting the browser everything was back to normal DynaMite :thumbsup |
This also has some bullshit weird connection to the right click images becoming bitmaps I think,...
|
Nice one - mine had been demonstrating the exact same 'feature' for over a week now... another handy tip is to fuck IE right off and use Opera..... :p

Yes Fletch I had that too....images could only be saved as bitmaps
and not opened in photoshop even not after renaming to jpg.... it gave unkown jpg type error.....! HotTrop....I did add (or better it gets auto added) but script drops trade that do not send a minimum of 50 uniques per day. My script starts returning traffic after an initial 10 unique hits and then is based on productivity. Please signup again...force 10 hits and the ball will start rolling :winkwink: DynaMite :thumbsup |
IE has never done that before, but all of a sudden everyone is complaining of it. No matter whether they use 5.5 or 6.0. I think good old Bill Gates has his fingers in everyones machine through back door accesses and for fun he changes shit around.
I would :winkwink: ____________________ http://www.abcdex.com/new/test/cd/cd_120x60_4.gif Don't wait... ... to get paid ! MORE $$$ SOONER |
It's MSIE 6.0 and higher that has this error....but lowering the
temp file settings does the trick...it's weird I know and very anoying if you don't know it....that's why I posted it....once you know it's not such a big problem and easy to fix :winkwink: Wether we like it or not MSIE is the browser 98% of the internet is using......I stick with whatever my visitors use....if it works for me it will also work for my visitors.....I do check other browsers but mainly use whatever the "standard" is DynaMite :2 cents: |
Besides of the bugs everybody is complaining about MSIE is
quite a nice browser.....I mean half of the webmasters don't know how to write proper html and at least MSIE will still show what they had in mind. If that would change with the next update half of all internet pages would be fucked up :1orglaugh DynaMite |
