Dear Fellow Webmasters:

I am the publisher of the gallery that this thread refers to. While the adult Internet is always on the cutting edge of advertising techniques, a lot of the galleries we see are rather mundane. I am sure most of you would agree that my gallery would not fall under such a description. I simply like to do things differently than the average webmaster. Interestingly, this is probably the most legally bulletproof gallery I have ever posted. I own the copyright to the entire gallery, there are no people being shown on the gallery, and no license terms to worry about.

I have promoted Showered in Shit solely using search engine traffic in the past, but about a week ago I wondered what would happen if I promoted this site by submitting a gallery with typical pictures of feces to my usual list of TGPs. While the pictures on my gallery are not representative of those on Showered in Shit, I figured it would be nearly impossible to license 2257-compliant pictures of shit eating and so forth. Besides, my pictures were free to produce!

While I did see more rejections than usual, I was delighted to see that many TGPs did accept my gallery. I did note that one reviewer declined my gallery with the personal message, "fuck man this is sick dude...I won't post this." Interestingly, that's probably the only personal message I've ever received from a TGP. Hopefully I won't find myself banned from hundreds of TGPs when this is all over.

For those curious, Showered in Shit does sell fairly well with United States search engine traffic. Unfortunately with this gallery, however, the clickthrough rate to Showered in Shit is very high but most of the visitors are not from the United States and so do not sign up making this an unprofitable venture. While I am probably not going to make a repeat performance unless I see a sale come out of this gallery, I hope that I at least encouraged a few webmasters to be creative and try some new things with their businesses.

I sincerely hope that no one here considers me scum for creating such an admittedly disgusting gallery. I may have unusual marketing tastes, but I run my business with the utmost respect for ethics and would dare anyone to find an instance of dishonesty in my history on the adult Internet. And no, I do not get off on sites like Showered in Shit and my girlfriend still loves me even after seeing this gallery.

In closing, I wish luck to all of GFY's members in their pursuits of wealth and thank everyone for reading this post.

Personally, I found it quite amusing. I will post it on my TGP if I haven't already. It is disgusting as hell, but it still made me laugh. I think it was the corn that cracked me up. Ease up on that runny shit though. It's my guess that in the shit world, that dump is equal to the BBW niche. Next time, submit a well shaped log with good length and girth. Keep the corn though as it's quite necessary for good texture in my professional opinion (I am a professional because I shit daily). I think you found a new niche...the corn backed rattlesnake niche! :thumbsup

I thought it was a good gallery to be honest. Needed some proper logs - real babies arm type logs...
