Police Academy - best comedic series of 80's

What is your favorite Police Academy? Favorite character? Favorite moment?

Police Academy: (1984)
Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment (1985)
Police Academy 3: Back in Training (1986)
Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol (1987)
Police Academy 5: Assignment: Miami Beach (1988)
Police Academy 6: City Under Siege (1989)
Police Academy 7: Mission to Moscow (1994)

Just found out Tackleberry died in 2001 : (

The first 4 were great but went downhill quick without Mahoney in 5,6,7.

My favorite character was Zed, although everyone loved Mahoney...

Yeah, it was great when someone ended up in the Blue Oyster Bar (Procotor was naked in the alley and ended up in there in Ep.4). LOL

Really you didn't know that? He had a heart attack at his friend's wedding. At the time the 1st Police Academy movie was out his sister was a teacher at my middle school. I mean I was in high school by 1984, but I attended that middle school a year earlier.

NaughtyJulie 05-28-2006 10:10 AM

Who was the lady in the series with the pip squeak little voice? She would burst out into this big growling scream every once in a while, "DON'T MOVE DIRT-BAG!!!" :1orglaugh I loved her!

Who pissed in YOURS? I was fine. YOU were the one that got your panties in a wad over my post. I like how people with issues are the first to ask others what their issue is.

OG LennyT 05-28-2006 10:35 AM

Remember Mahoney getting the crane operator to lift the port-a-potty, with Proctor inside, into the stadium full of people. Than they unhooked the outside of it so Proctor was sitting on the shitter on the 50 yd line....

great stuff : )

Degenerate 05-28-2006 10:35 AM

Beverly Hills Cop series was better.

djroof 05-28-2006 10:38 AM

really funny movies ;)

Walrus 05-28-2006 12:13 PM

I saw the first three POLICE ACADEMY movies at the cinema when they originally came out. Don't think I saw any beyond that.

Anyone ever see "Cheech And Chong's Nice Dreams"? The Larvell Jones character was in that. He did all the mimicking with his voice in PA. In 'NIce Dreams' he mimicked Jimi Hendrix. I couldn't stop laughing at that part.

u-Bob 05-28-2006 12:30 PM

Sergeant Proctor: Hightower!
Officer Moses Hightower: Yo!
Lt. Mauser: Yo?
Officer Moses Hightower: Yo, sir!
Lt. Mauser: Yo, sir... You must be from the south! That's "Yes, sir." You got foot patrol.
