Epoch's FlexPost Interface

Hey folks,

I just got done writing an entire management system that utilizes the new Epoch FlexPost system.

The script handles all communication between your site and the epoch site, storing all pertinent information back from the epoch server into your local mysql database.

There is a small management interface, and an email export piece.

I spent a lot of time on the phone with guys from Epoch/PayCom and the thing is humming along nicely.

If anyone else using Epoch is going to switch over to the new FlexPost system, please feel free to get in touch if you want to get a hold of this or you just need advice about getting it going.

Marky,

Most third party billing companies have some type of interface that you can get post back information from, for example, the paypal automatic subscription rebilling has such a mechanism. For lack of a better term, it is simply an api (application programming interface) designed to allow two unlike systems to communicate with each other.

I am sure that now, with all the visa changes, that you will see more robust interfaces to help seamlessly integrate paysites with their third party billing provider.

Marky -

EPOCH has been posting back information about sales on all of our processing interfaces for 5-6 years now. Midnight is talking about our relatively new (since November) highly functinal
processing interface known as FlexPost. This interface provides the webmaster with complete control over the join process and cardholder as compared to the standard purchase interface where there is much less functionality.

Midnight - please email me your contact information and any other information you have regarding your new product and I am sure that I can send you some business:)

EPOCH,

Excellent. I spoke with some of your tech guys over the past few days. You have a very talented team assembled over there.

In any case, I will get in touch with you via email.
