What's up with no-text sites trading hardlinks?
 

Everyone's trading hardlinks for PR purposes these days, even thumb tgps that only use text at all for the names of the sites they trade hardlinks with.

What's the point in getting PR if you don't have any text the search engines can use? Am I missing something here? :helpme

If the images are named keywords, and there some to minimum surrounding or incoming text links (galleries) there is always Google Images and other image search engines to gain traffic from once your popularity and relevance is up per referring page the images are linked on.

That's what I thought at first, but most of them aren't even using alt text, nor are they using named images. For that matter, they mostly use images even for text.

ah, well then that's just a retarded half thought out marketing plan LOL :)
