I'm not judging per se, I just want to know what breed of dog it is. Pomeranian? Doesn't look like a Chow Chow.

I love dogs and I hate the thought of anyone killing them for food. However, the rational part of me wonders why it is okay to see a pig (which are just as smart or perhaps smarter than dogs) hung up like that but not a dog. What meat we eat is a cultural thing.

Well pigs are in fact much smarter than dogs. The difference is that pig are sooooooo delicious. Most dogs don't look lie the provide much meat. Probally is gamey too. Face it if food became scarce and we were starving, we'd all eat fido.
