The O'Reilly Factor - Will democracy prevail in Iraq and how long will it take?

on foxnews

what democracy? like you fuckin care

Aside 2400+ US soldiers killed there over 18,000 US soldiers have been wounded since the beginning of the war. Whatdoes this translate in many many cases?

Blind, no legs, no arms.

iraqii civilians? let's not touch these numbers

May 2006, what's the status in Iraq? Chaos. US and UK control less than 1/3rd of it and even in the green zone that's in the middle of Bagdhat (ex-saddam's palace) there's a total chaos. You leave the headquarter and you getting killed easily. International journalists till 2004 they could go outside and collect info, right now they ALL have to stay in the hotels.

what's done is done, shut the fuck up about iraq already. the troops are staying there as long as the government wants them to so everyone just spend your time worrying about something else. shit is so played out...

it will be better.

what could they do to improve the situation? Do you honestly think if kerry got elected he would have just pulled our entire military out? You cant just pull out like that, thousands more would die because of a move like that, and no democrat is stupid enough to think just pulling everyone out would help. The war has to run its course now, and that may take some time, regardless of who is in office.

Yes, but why the Americans must keep see it this way?

Maintaining a mistake of crooked politicians only makes the situation worse. Is your national pride so important to keep costing human lives in daily basis? Would you say that if your brother or father was one of the victims of this apathy?

Americans should be given the option of a public poll if they want to see the continue of the war or the end of it. That's what a real democratic system would do.

help who?

soldiers? civilians? politicians? companies involved in the war? withdrawal from iraq can be achived with limited losses. What is missing? A big movement of people to request take a decision themselves on this exact issue and not through the next elections that is a multi-issue event.
