    iBill and Etelegate owners going to jail soon

    iBill, without my permission, transferred all my rebills to etelegate a month and half ago. As of today, Etelegate owes me a little over $3000. I have called etelegate many times, and always its someone at iBill who answers my calls. They are playing the same game as they did with me before.

    Yesterday, I contacted the FTC, and they transferred me to the office of the FBI. I spoke to an agent there, and he took down all my information and told me to send him my records for money owed from iBill and Etelegate, which I did.

    Today, the agent called me back. And here is what he said.

    Upon investigation of the above matter, the FBI fells that this issue is of interest, and an agent will be assigned to review your case and to take further action against the above named companies and its owners.

    Anyone who was owed money by iBill and now is owed money by Etelegate should keep an eye on this board, as I will post the name and contact information of the FBI agent once I have it.

    To the owners of iBill and Etelegate: You are gona be someone's bitch soon as you serve time in federal prison.

                                                              Ibill was doing legal business, and any company can defult on its payments. But when you change a company name to a new name and continue to swindle money from creditors, than its a diffrent story. In this case, they simply changed their name, moved all my rebills and thousands of others to the new company, and continued to keep all the money that users paid to enter my site and other sites. This is called fraud, and its very easy to prove.

                                                              to anyone who thinks this is a bullshit posting, come back in a few days and you will have the agent name, badge number, and contact information. Also, anyone who got his rebills transfered to etelegate and has not been paid by them, should contact this agent. Its time for this sad issue to be put to rest.

                                                                              If I was doing business with Bell South for my phone line, cancelled the line/account and a month later I start getting bills from Vonage because they are handling all the billing for BellSouth and decided to rebill the entire database, I'd say the streams of ethics and privacy have definately been crossed. Consumer data banks and financial information can only be shared/exchanged under very strict federal laws and Visa regulations. There are too many fine lines involved to not take a closer look at what is going on here.

So people who signed up to sites agreeing to pay $20.00 a month will all of a sudden be charged nearly $22, withouth their authorization. As far as I know, that's illegal right there.

                                                                                                                                  the incestuous relationship between iBill and Etelegate is hard to fathom, it is possible that either iBill actually purchased Etelegates entire operation (along w/ its prestigious mail-drop in London, not to mention the dissolved UK corporation), or is just assuming all roles of support (ha!) and maintenance of any transferred accounts.

                                                                                                                                  it is fact though, Etelegate was opened by the irrascable Cory Tyler of VolPay antics and fame, take that for what you will w/ the ongoing iBill legacy of lunacy..

                                                                                                                                                  One client of ours INSISTED on using iBill's processing plus merchant gateway... took us a couple weeks contacting their tech dept. to get documentation and postback/back-end stuff... when everything was finally ready, enabled, launched, online, here-comes-da-traffic they shut down that service - no warning, no time, just no processing one day with an email referring you to a new account rep at another billing company (don't want to implicate them here - they seem innocent).

They are still looking into the matter. I asked the agent if its ok to post his name here so other webmasters can call him to file omplaint aginst the asholes.
