Heavy Metal Month on Vh1?

Ok I admit it... I miss the 80's.
The big hair, big bands and fuck it attitudes.
With that in mind I have become a total slave to VH1 this month since they have been running all kinds of Metal based shows. Has any one else watched any of their Metal Month programming? Personally I love the countdowns. Most of the time I think they miss the mark and tend to blur some lines, but over all it's entertaining as hell to see what some of their speakers say about the music on the countdown.

VH1 and VH1 Classics have gotten a lot of my TV time for Metal Month

Been watching them religously.

I missed the 80's, and good ole metal!

Plus the little tidbits of trivia you get, like finding out Ronnie James Dio was the one who started the Devil's Horns hand signs. :)

Isn't it weird watching the old metalm videos that seemed hi-tech at the time and are now really cheesy and dated?

I hadn't realized how cheesy the Krokus videos were until watching them again recently

Have you caught their documentary show "Heavy"? I'm completely addicted!

I just ordered it last night after hearing some great reviews. Looking forward to seeing it.

I love those shows because there was so much music that I had forgotten about. I've been a downloading fool all week over it. I watched that show "Supergroup" and damn near pissed myself a few times I was laughing so hard. So far my fav guy is Scott Ian from Anthrax, but I've been warming to Sebastian Bach. He actually seems kinda funny.

Sebastian Bach is pretty cool, met him in 2003 during GFY's LA show.
