Who has more public disdain? Bonds or Kobe?
 

I have to say Bonds, but during the NBA season, Kobe seems to be a good draw for hate as well.

Both are beloved heroes in their own cities, arguably the best at what each does in their respective sports; but away and with the national media, neither can get a break.

Kobe seems to have a little better relationship with the media, but both aren't winning teammate of the year anytime soon. Both have league stars making negative statements about them (David Wells, Raja Bell...etc...) on a regular basis.

Bonds is more hated - definitely more hated by the media than Kobe.

Bonds gets cheered in San Fran. At least that is my understanding.

Barry Bonds is probably in the top 5 most hated personalities in sports history. He is hated two fold: For being a prick and possibly taking steroids. However, I think with alot of time 50 years or so, people with look back at him the same way they view Ty Cobb. Cobb was by all accounts one of the biggest cocksucking assholes in history.

Kobe still has a few years to make a more favorable impression.

I don't think Kobe raped anybody that just makes him a bit a of a trash talking ballhog who fizzled a bit in the playoffs. Bonds flat out cheats and then denies it. You shouldn't need to endanger your health to be competitive in sports.

The media's pretty harsh on both guys but I think Bonds gets the shit end of the stick. People act like he molested children.

I think both have gotten a raw deal from the media.

Their both rich as fuck and neither gives a damn about the hating public,,,so I guess it really doesn't matter.
