How do you make a folder "hidden" on your PC??
 

Is there a way to do this? I want to make a folder hidden from prying eyes, namely a family member who comes to our place and snoops around for things she shouldn't being looking at. If ya know how to do it....I'd appericate it. :thumbsup

right click > properties

right click, select properties, then click hidden and apply

ok once youve done that, how do u get back into it?

Just make a new user, limit the xs rights, don't give that user xs to your "special files"...

Open a folder and under Tools > Folder Options > View > Hidden Files and Folders > check Do Not Show Hidden Files and Folders. Then right-click the folder you want to hide and check the "Hidden" box.
