I don't want there to be drama. :( Lookit my post history and you'll see I never get involved in drama. But I can't seem to get a response from AlienQ now via email or ICQ, yet he's posted here on GFY plenty.

I just want him to finish the work we paid him for. He was paid back in February. Unless I constantly hit him up nothing seems to get done. :( I feel like a month could go by and he'd never hit me up and say "here's what you paid me for!" I have to keep nagging, and I hate nagging.

I've all ready said more than I normally would. Sigh. :( Look how many sad smileys I've been forced to use. It just isn't right.

It seems like every customer he's had over the last six months has gotten pissed because he stopped communicating and ddidn't finish the work agreed upon. He doesn't refund any money and fails to pay others for work they performed for him. Yet he still creates threads begging for new work.

Too Late For A Sig Spot?

Yeah, seeing his threads begging for work/money really ticked me off. If he just completed the work we hired him for within a reasonable amount of time and without us being forced to chase him around, we'd of had a TON more work/money to toss his way. Instead we'll be hiring someone else. And now I wouldn't recommend AlienQ to ANYONE else after my experience with him. So he does it to himself, if you ask me.

It's really disappointing and extremely frustrating. He seemed like such a nice, reliable guy in the beginning. :( :( :(

I think seeing him post at all would piss me off. I mean if you have time to post and get into pissing matches with people on the boards, I'd hope you'd have time to finish the projects you've been paid for.

Theres lots more he owes apparently, they are just trying to avoid the drama.

And he says he's broke cauz he dosen't have money.

He needs to educate himself about money, because I've certianly been broke at times and owed money, but not running a business correctly is smething different.

Everybody has been broke or had had financial troubles, I hope he'll get his sh*t together soon for his own sake (and for the sake of his clients).

Maybe he's just going through a rough period of his life, everyone has been there and done that... I'm not justifying what he's doing but maybe he just needs some time to get over it :)

All that would be plausible if he didn't spend hours on here rambling with his pompous antagonistic attitude.

They have gottin files and source files over two months ago.
I have given them source files repeatedly.

They need 5 banners and the final Flash component for the aff program which is being integrated with a script finally, or so thats the rumor.

I talked with the client numerous times went to over 26 different design versions for the aff program, back and forth back and forth change , change , change ,change this, change that...
Personaly i do not even like the design.

I do not know what they have told you, but appearently its worth bring out on the boards...

I went above and beyond the call for the work effort on thier project.
Its a damn shame they decided to talk to you about it.

I have juggled over 4 other clients, and produced content.

I am busy man, very busy and I schedual things in pieces.

They got alot more integration to go for key things on the project, that I have nothing to with.
They do not NEED the banners today, they do not Need the FLASH today.

Otherwise those elements I would just have to update and re-update like everything on this project, taking more of my time and thier time.

I am glad you are highly concerned about my work, highly concerned that clients might not be getting what they paid for, but really that's not how I operate nor my company operates.

By the time things are said and done everyone is often happy and I end up over worked for the effort.

Until you get into Design or Photography or well anything for that matter you will learn a few things.

And one of them is to mind your own fucking business.

Good customer relations are as, or more, important that the actual work you are doing for them.
A customer should feel all warm and cozy, taken care of.

I worked my off ass for these people and I get JimThefiend hawkin around like I am doing them wrong. Well god knows how Jim figured this project out, but since the way I operate as of late has been in question...

I got no choice to assure ya folks. I try and do good work for people and deliver. Maybe its not always on time but then again not all designers produce shit perfectly on time, and I am no exception.

At the end, Clients are happy "Usually". Some are not and thats just how design life is. The really whinny ones run around to other people, or scream about hell and earth falling over some lousy25 dollar thing. The designers are often left doing the work and end up over worked from an over demanding client our of fear of this sort of shit that you are reading now.

I do this for a living and it requires I involve myself with several projects at once, gauge time, clock time, estimate the clients needs at junctures on a project.

In short I create time to make time to create...

Alien, you gave me zip files to download today that I've never been given before. I only had one PSD before today. I needed the rest.

The two different versions of the members section, even though ya only ordered 1, I built two.

The affilaites program, holy jesus...
I have two compeltely different layouts for that. I basically designed 2 Affiliates programs for ya guys. Sat for over 3 hours just updating one to make sure its what the client wanted.
Cut optimised it and gave ya the download files and the source files.

Not 1 time, not 2 times but 3 fucking times now.

Its my business because she's a friend of mine and MADE it my business. I brought it to the boards because you've had months to complete the work and have already been paid and you've ignored her REPEATED attempts to contact you. You can't ignore this.
