London is a great city, so long as you don't have to live there.

Actually, I should clarify. London is a great city if you really enjoy being surrounded by the bustle of life, and you have plenty of money. Oxford St. on a saturday afternoon is... well, there's certainly nothing like it here in Australia, that's for sure. Me, I prefer the more laidback lifestyle, and not paying 3/4 of my income to rent a bed in a sharehouse.

Rosie 05-24-2006 06:14 AM

I live in the UK and it sucks. I'm getting out as soon as I can

I like London. I will say without a doubt they have some of the ugliest women anywhere... but if you can get over that small detail it's a pretty cool city.

VicJay 05-24-2006 07:11 AM

I love UK :thumbsup for me it's the best place in Europe!!! I used to study there for 6 years (4 of them in a boarding school in a small place called Seaford, it's on the south-east coast, 40 minute's away from Brighton and two years in Oxford) and this was the best time in my life for sure!!! :)

PaulB IYP 05-24-2006 08:12 AM

Love it. Lived there for almost 3 years, in a place called Guildford.

Paul 05-24-2006 08:56 AM

I don't like the weather !

Choppa 05-24-2006 08:57 AM

yeah spent a couple of years abroad in london, was difficult handling the weather

adultchica 05-24-2006 08:59 AM

I hear it's really foggy and rainy a lot, is that the weather you are speaking of?

TheWylders 05-24-2006 09:15 AM

We just got back from the UK this weekend, spent 2 days in London a few days in Belgium and a few days in Holland. London was by far the best! It's expensive as hell, but I guess staying in Mayfair didn't help things. Highly recommend this place and definitely want to go again very soon. Not too crazy about the food though, never had beans for breakfast and the plate was covered in them:Oh crap

Webby 05-24-2006 09:42 AM

Was a good place but it's changing pretty quickly - and not for the better.

Generally visitors love the place for all sorts of reasons and it's fine for a short while.

For folks who live there - in general, they want to get the hell out.

Only my :2 cents: but I'd never dream of locating to any industrialised/highly-geared country - ever. The lifestyle is amazingly pointless and utter shit - and this not only applies to the UK, but also several other countries in the EU and the US.

It is noticeable in most industrialised countries that immigration continues from not-so-well-off countries while people in a position to "escape" are moving out to a much superior lifestyle and without the crap baggage of industrialised-world governments and laws.

NemesiS876 05-24-2006 09:43 AM

Never been there

Amazing you think the London women are ugly...... go stroll down oxford street at any summer day and i challenge you not to find hot babes.

Of all european countries, id say id find the largest quantity of hot babes in london versus other cities.

BradM 05-24-2006 10:14 AM

I'd love to visit, especially the York area.

LOL ahhh.. beans means Heinz!... but the BIG question is...

did you try the BLACK PUDDING??? :winkwink: :1orglaugh

Born and raised in the UK here, now I live in Canada, but I do miss the old country sometimes.

Lifer 05-24-2006 10:18 AM

Yes, they speak strange English (which was your original point, I believe).

Regarding Black pudding - I'll accept that.

But I draw the line at eating something called "Spotted Dick"!!

tgpmakers 05-24-2006 10:22 AM

It's not to bad lived here all me life but what bugs me is the weather it hasn't stopped raining for 2 weeks now and before that the water board was moaning because they were gonna run out of water but now they can't moan.

Tax's are a bitch we are taxed to fuck.

I could moan all day but we get used to it and get on with it. A lot of people here don't realise what it's like elsewhere and don't care which drives me nuts. People really are boring here.

Darren 05-24-2006 12:00 PM

see job...........

s9ann0 05-24-2006 12:21 PM

Versus other cities where... in Afghanistan maybe. The typical british Blonde has years of inbreeding in her blood. It does nothing for the looks.

Here, I'm going to post some of the more popular pinup hotties from the UK. I could easily find uglier ones but I'm going to post your most popular to be fair.

These are not magazine cover caliber babes. You guys have a different standard over there.

And let's not even get started on damn near every Ms. Universe and Ms. World contestant from the UK. We were shocked that last year's entrant didn't have a mustache and was fairly hot.
