i know nothing about todays TVs. 10000:1 ratio, HDTV, LCD, plasma, 42 inch etc....

who is the best manufacturer?

who has the best quality?

Best is to subjective so the only thing I can offer is this and it is advice.

Dryer sheets make excellent dusting devices for the screen of whatever TV you go with.

I love my 65" widescreen Mitsubishi. If I were to get one today I would pry look at a DLP widescreen. Most ones today will have HDMI etc so make sure of that.
