Yes you are right. He is an Aikido black belt? a few degree?s? definitely not a fake.

aikido - aka "the art of peace" does not make use of kicking, punching and breaking joints and bones... which is mostly what you see segal doing in movies because it looks cool.

Those two are one of the top light heavy weights in the world in MMA

Seagal has a third degree black belt in editing techniques and capture speeds.
