Web Air Constant Down Time
 

Has anyone else noticed lately Web Air's constant down time? It seems you can't connect to FTP, the mail server goes down, but the website stays up. You also can't log on to cp.webair.com ... I haven't caught the actual web site down yet though.

This goes on for periods of 6 hours or longer frequently until you can log on again and is a daily thing, if not it occurs more than once a day and I definitely have not had a day go by in at least a couple weeks where this wasn't happening.

I know it can't be just me/my ftp info because the cp.webair.com doesn't connect when all this happens either ... Anyone know wth is going on and when they plan on having it fixed?

It's sort of a pain when you are in the middle of script modifications, the server goes down ... the mod you made was incorrect so your script on your website is broken until they fix it hours later...

i've noticed it with the mail server a couple times.. but no biggie

i've never noticed my sites going down, and that's what counts ;)

General mailservers have been undergoing some hefty upgrades recently off peak times of course...should be good now let me know if you have any further issues please.

I have not had an ounce of downtime with any of our sites hosted with Webair. I would have suggested hitting up Gerard but he already got in on this post so no need. So since Gerard has this your in good hands, best of luck to you.

Humm that's weird my server seems to be slow now

I'm in and out... have a busy day today ... But no my sites are never down it is my FTP that is down so I can't update my sites.. Like the last 3 hours today my FTP is down, I can't hit cp . webair . com , and I can't get any of my mail (not sure if it is bouncing atm or if I'll get it when it comes back up).

It's just been a pretty regular occurence ... Not a one time thing so I'm sure i can't be the only one that has brought it up ... If it is an isolated issue please let me know Gerard and I will contact you tomorrow some time .. If not, if you could just post a general status update as to what's causing these problems and when they should be fixed I would appreciate it.

To clarify, these problems are uncommon on Web Air ... and my websites have not been down it is just the mail server, ftp, and the control panel ...

Don't know who you are can you send me your account info =))? FTP should be fine no issues today at all.

Weird -- Webair doesn't go down for me. The mail server was slow once or twice *cough* in a YEAR *cough* ... but so was Comcast's, my ISP.

In fact, Webair has been up much more than my ISP has.

Their support is ... nothing short of amazing.

Call em up and tell them. That's the only way they will know. I was having weird problems with my sites until I finally called them. Server problems don't work themselves out and nobody is going to fix what is not reported broken:upsidedow

Webair just went crazy-ass above and beyond fixing some things that went wacky with my server.

The support and service was SO good, it's almost ridiculous.
