Any Jetski Owners Around?? I Need Your Help

I'm just starting to look at buying a couple of jetskis for my new cottage, could you guys recommend some models I should take a look at?

I have been on a Polaris jetski before and it was a blast!

Thanks in advance,
DH

I take it you want a sit down model?

I recommend the ones that float. :thumbsup The other ones can be a pain in the ass.

I had a yamaha gpr 1200 last year for my summer toy, real fun. Would top out around 60-70mph (had a few mods). Real fun though, traded for a bike for this summer though.

I've had Kawasaki stand ups and a Polaris two seater, they are both fun and both ran pretty well without too many problems. I actually sank the Polaris a couple years ago and had the engine taken apart, the water drained from the cylinders, and it ran fine. I recommend Polaris if you're looking for a sit down model. :2 cents:

I got a Yamaha WaveRunner 800cc, goes like a rocket and very reliable. I definitely recommend Yamaha over SeaDoo anyday as SeaDoos are a bitch to work on if anything does go wrong... Don't know much about other brands as the only jetskis i ever owned were all Yamaha.

It's a lot of fun. Can hold 3 people. But when I ride it alone I have had it up to 69mph. It is supposed to do 72mph but I think my weight keeps it from reaching that last 3mph.

I have owned several sea-doo's over the years. Just picked up a new 215 hp RXP last week. http://www.seadoo.com/en-US/Watercra...troduction.htm

Going today to buy another one, cheaper model for wife/friends to drive. You need 2 jetskis, one gets boring.

i gotta go with brad, the RXP is the only thing worth owning on the market at present. iv ridden them before and they are a shitload of fun.... better then them granny 3 seaters.

as well i have to point out another thing brad mentioned.... 1 is just not enough. 2 is completely necessary. 1 for you and 1 for everyone else to fuck up... because believe me... people will fuck them up. and when they do, you can use the good one to go pull it back to shore :)

Thanks Brad, I will check that one out. Plus I completely agree with you, one jetski is no fun :thumbsup

Agreed, I have 2 of these, but mine are red not the yellow or green that I see everywhere.

If you have 2 people on the RXP, you can easily tip it if you turn too fast.. So if I had a time machine, I'd pick up 1 rxp and one RXT (three seater)
