Is there a logical reason why they have their movies split up in 30 second clips in the members area?

Not everyone has a fast connection.

they shot themselves in the ass on that one, they went too 1min clips not too long ago, but still an annoyance

wouldn't it be smart to have smaller files for modemers and larger files for high speed users? try to keep everyone happy.

They have dialup and broadband streams, and breaking it up into smaller sections makes sense, though 30 seconds is too short. The new length of 1 minute is better.

sites that do that are worthless. you need an option for 1 or 2 large downloads to get the entire clip. even if its like 50mb or whatever this is no problem for the average dsl or cable modem user.

most bangbus movies are around 100-150mb and I have heard they are doing kinda good :winkwink:

Well, apparently something like 80% of the users are on dial-up, most notably AOL users. That's probably a good reason :2 cents:
