Biz Thread: If I Buy 2 Webmaster Boards - Merge Them or Run Two Seperate Sites?
Simple question: I am currently in the process of acquiring two established webmaster boards. Both boards have at least 100 active users each and have 1 or more paying top spot banner advertisers. One board is significantly larger than the other, with a user base of nearly 5x the other.
If I actually acquire both boards, should I merge them into one bigger board, or leave them as two separate boards? Should I offer sponsors deals for ads on the other board that they aren?t advertising on now, or keep them totally unassociated from each other?
Your opinions please, and the reasoning behind them.
