the idea that we are in communication with these beings surprises me since it is obvious that the higher powers in Washington are acting as children rather than responsible political figures - so my guess is that they don't know about it. Sad, because it would do the world some good to know we aren't alone and that a more advanced society is telling us, "you guys are morons the way you treat each other and the planet" |
I recently had dinner with an ex high ranking official of the New Mexico governemnt and I asked him about this. he told me it was a weather balloon. he had no reason to lie.

Crossing intersteller distances requires infinite amounts of energy. If you believe a supreme race of intelligence was able to overcome that, and are millions of years advanced compared to our own technology, I just don't see their shit crashing into the ground.
